LEARNING PROGRAMS

Illuminate Academy is a specialized tutorial program designed for children with Autism and developmental disabilities, ages 3-18. Our focus is on building communication and regulation skills within a safe and supportive environment. Running from August to May, Monday through Thursday, 8:30-2:30, our curriculum is rooted in the belief that communication and regulation are key to success, as emphasized by our director, Jacquelene Nigrelli. We utilize the SCERTS Model to assess social communication and emotional regulation, and the Unique Learning System to teach relevant academic and pre-vocational skills. Our methodology includes a variety of research-based instructional techniques like Differentiated Instruction, Project-Based Learning, Sensory Integration, and more, all tailored to the individual needs of each learner.

EXTENDED CARE

Illuminate Academy offers Extended Care for families who need additional support beyond regular school hours. Our Extended Care program provides a safe and structured environment where students can continue to develop social, communication, and self-regulation skills through engaging activities. Available Monday through Thursday after school, this program is designed to offer peace of mind to parents while ensuring that students remain in a familiar and nurturing setting. Whether it’s extra time for learning or simply a space to unwind, our Extended Care provides the flexibility and support your family needs.

ENGAGING LIVE SESSIONS AND PRACTICAL WORKSHOPS

These are designed to provide hands-on learning and real-time interaction with expert instructors. These sessions focus on equipping parents, educators, and caregivers with actionable strategies to support neurodivergent children. Through dynamic discussions, live demonstrations, and collaborative activities, you'll gain practical tools that can be immediately applied in real-world situations. Whether you're looking to deepen your understanding of autism support or enhance your teaching techniques, these workshops are interactive, informative, and tailored to your needs.
